Stresstest 100k spaceships


It has been 3 months now that I am getting familiar on development for the quest.
Learning the specs, trying new techniques and exploring the limits.
But about a week ago I noticed that a shader wich previously didn't work now does!
So I was wondering wether unity's high performance DOTS systems would work now as well... and they do.
Since I really enjoyed that spaceship game of valve's vr labs I thought on bringing that natively to the quest
and began to make a quick stress test on how many spaceships I could render on the Quest.
100 thousand spaceships was the mark where my framerate began to drop below 70.
Wich is quite impressive when looking at Oculus' developer guide suggestion of 50 - 100 objects.
Now let's start making a game out of that!
